Multiple Product Images, Specifications and Markup
Items can have multiple images of varying sizes - for product lists on the website as well as product detail pages. Products can have additional images that are available to the customer as well, be it additional view of the product other configurations or so on. Product descriptions can imbed unlimited markup and formatting to easily get the look and feel you desire, to mesh with your existing website. Multiple descriptions are allowed, so that condensed specifications and detailed specifications may, as desired be formatted separately.
Order Confirmation
As soon as the customer completes their web shopping cart, an order acknowledgement email may be generated to the customer. In addition, periodic or real-time email notifications to internal users (e.g. order processing or customer service, as an example) may be auto-generated as well.
Up-Sell/Cross-Sell and Convenience
BSI eCommerce allows similar products to be associated with other products (i.e. "Products You May Also Be Interested In"). It also allows complementary products to be defined (products that add value to the product being purchased - batteries are an example to many products). The customer also has the ability to keep a list of her favorite products, e-mail a product link to someone else, and even see the most recent items they’ve looked at.
New Customer Registration
With BSI eCommerce, you can allow new customers to easily register, restrict new customer registrations to businesses only or not allow new customers at all. This allows you to truly open the door to selling over the Internet or restrict it as you see fit.
Customer Self-Service
Views are integrated that allow the customer to easily check his order status, when it shipped, where it was shipped, what the final total was, who the carrier was, the tracking numbers, and the customer can even track the order to see exactly where his package was delivered - 24x7 information availability. No synchronization whatsoever, your customer sees the up-to-the-second status of his order directly from your Exact/Macola software system.
